People often stumble across this page or accidently search for it on the Internet. If you are seriously looking for pictures of asian statues or monuments or maybe Buddha himself, then this should be a disappointment.

This page is entirely an inside joke that only a select few will appreciate. Kevin and some buddies started this whole thing. One day while hiking around Lantau Peak in Hong Kong, Kevin noticed the big budda at Polin Monestary off in the distance. At once there was the sudden urge to whip off one's shirt and pose with the statue in the background. Thus the picture style of "buddha pic" was coined and incorporated into subsequent adventures. Buddha pics quickly lots their association with Buddha or anything related to Buddhism. It became a tradition to pose in such a way upon reaching a high summit, conquering something, or just plain whenever. Now that you have been enlightened in such a unique form of masculine photography maybe you will be able to appreciate this page a little more.
